I've been noticing that the button images that come with the IF forum are loading slowly. This means that people coming to our forums aren't able to post....No button, no link to post!
The solution that I found for this is to make new buttons and either upload them to the forum, or upload to photobucket.com and add the link to CP>>>images.
I usually use paint shop pro to make buttons....But my computer died last month. Using the library computer, I recently made buttons for my Garden Forum using the online button making service at: Button2life.com
I found it necessary to save the new buttons as jpegs....They wouldn't work as png.

I never personally get into this problem as I am always hosting my buttons in photobuckets or in imageshack but there are lots of people who might be using the default IF hosting. Thanks Stone.
